Sin Nombre - Review

I watched this movie tonight on DVD, but wish that I has seen it sooner on the big screen. The cinematography is beautiful in this film and my TV didn't do it justice.

This movie is a riviting parallel storyline about poverty and violence and the lengths people will go to for the 'American Dream.' I felt like the movie gave me much more insight in to the loyalty and violence of the gang culture in Mexico, and taught more more about the hardships people will endure to come here.

The film was very eye-opening and thought provoking and one that I will remember for a long time to come.

Bravo to writer-director Cary Joji Fukunaga.
